« PrePaq » operates solely by gravity and fluid dynamics. Using no energy, partial zero chemicals and with an efficiency up to 99.9%, APATEQ’s PrePaq proprietary pre-treatment module separates organic and inorganic matter with sizes down to 15 µm. Resulting in smaller plant dimensions at lower investment and operating costs, primary treatment with PrePaq reduces the pollutant load for subsequent treatment steps.
When conditioned with our proprietary alternating coatings, the PrePaq can also be used in the oilfield to separate hydrocarbons from produced and flow-back wastewaters. PrePaq relieves the subsequent membrane filtration process and eliminates the majority of the suspended solids.
